Halloween is almost here!

It's time to CARVE!
What a great 2014 we've had here at the Patch! We really had wonderful growing weather throughout the summer and fall, all of our crops did very well. We sure hope that you've enjoyed your produce from the Patch and sincerely hope that you will be back for more next season.
What do the farmers do in the winter you ask?
Well, we actually both work off the farm, Ed year-round at the UW and Kathy helps an accountant out during tax season. Plus, we still have our flock of 120 egg laying chickens and there is plenty of farm planning to be done for the upcoming year.
Is anything available during the winter at the Patch?
Yes, beginning Saturday November 1st our farm will be open daily from 9 am-7 pm. At the Patch we have our farm fresh eggs, pure local honey, dilly beans, and a taste of summer frozen sweet corn!
Can't make it out to the Patch but would love to be eating from the Patch during the winter?
If you live in Barneveld or Mount Horeb we offer eggs delivered right to your doorstep twice a month! For more information and to get signed up email Farmer Kathy! Our eggs our super fresh and our chickens are free ranging making for extra tasty eggs!

Open 10 am - 6 pm daily!
Our second most favorite season is here at the Patch; second only to strawberry season it's our PUMPKIN SEASON! This year we once again have our enormous selection of white, blue, red, black, green and even orange pumpkins. We also carry many varieties of squash, as well as Indian corn, corn stalks, straw bales, and tons of fun gourds.
We are open daily 10am to 6pm until October 31st, at which point we close at 4pm so that our kiddos can go trick-or-treating.

On Saturdays and Sundays our CORN MAZE is open and we offer FREE HAYRIDES through the pumpkin patch where you and your children are able to pick out the perfect pumpkins for your front porch.
