Monday, June 29th - The Patch is open for pick-your-own strawberries and sugar snap peas 8am-8pm. Sorry, pre-picked berries are no longer available
Strawberry Season Update:
We had some great pickers out here on Saturday and they picked some beautiful fruit! However, our final days of strawberry season are here. Monday June 29th and Tuesday June 30th (our last day of strawberry season), we will be open from 8am - 8pm for pick-your-own strawberries and sugar snap peas. Sorry, but pre-picked berries are no longer available.
We've been picking for over two weeks already and the season typically lasts just 2-3 weeks; which means we are counting our blessings for every day we have remaining to pick berries. Picking has slowed down a bit, but for the experienced picker or for someone looking to get a few for fresh eating there are plenty of beautiful berries waiting to be picked.
Here's what some have said about the berries they picked this year in the Patch:
"Berries were delicious! I just ate a bowl of berries with ice cream - heavenly! I will return again."
"Another year of amazingly delicious strawberries!!"
"Beautiful & delicious! You helped make the Smith/Jewel Wedding wonderful! "
Hope to see you in the Patch soon!
The Patch is closed on Sundays during strawberry season.
Bures Berry Patch accepts cash, check, or charge. And picking containers are provided.
For your enjoyment Bures Berry Patch also sells: bulk pectin, eggs, pure maple syrup, frozen strawberry rhubarb pies, frozen cream of asparagus soup, dilly beans and more.
Next season to come at the Patch?? Raspberries! Our red raspberry season is just two weeks away. More details to come.
Don't forget to Like us on Facebook for daily updates on what is happening in the Patch! In addition, this can be a great resource for recipes and strawberry ideas. We'd also love to see pictures of your little ones all sticky with strawberry juice (might just be next years postcard picture)!
Here's to a wonderful new year of growing local, healthy food!
Our strawberries have traveled far and wide in the past 10+ years that we have been strawberry farmers and we can't thank you enough for sharing our berries with those close to you. We really do appreciate all of our customers and your love for fresh, ripe and delicious produce!
Hope to see you in the Patch soon,
Farmer Kathy and Farmer Ed
