Now In The Patch

8/25/15

The Patch is now open dailyfrom 9 am-7 pm.

Raspberry season is now here!

Raspberry Season Details:
  • Our raspberries are sold pre-picked only into pint containers or 8 pint pails.  Pint containers have berries that are pre-sorted and free from debris and blemishes.  The 8 pint pails are straight from the field so they may have some softer fruit in them but this makes for delicious jams, jellies, and pies.
  • Raspberries are picked every couple of days so while there is occasionally a surplus available be sure to call ahead and place an order so that we can guarantee there will be berries for you when you arrive at the Patch (hate to have you miss out).

In addition to raspberry season, sweet corn season continues its bounty here at the Patch!  We offer a scrumptiously sweet bi-color corn that is the perfect addition to any summertime meal. Looking to freeze sweet corn?  Be sure to call ahead and ask about our freezers' discount.  In addition to sweet corn and raspberries, we continue to have delicious baby red, german butterball, fingerling, as well as blue potatoes.

Now at the Patch:
We are open daily from 9am-7pm
We currently have: farm fresh eggs, pre-picked raspberries, sweet corn, and potatoes, local non-pasteurized honey, pure Wisconsin maple syrup, dilly beans, frozen strawberry rhubarb pies and frozen cream of asparagus soup.

Won't you join us in eating fresh from the Patch?

8/13/15

The Patch is now open dailyfrom 9 am-7 pm.

This summer has been a bit slow. Our poor summer raspberries suffered extensive winter kill and for that reason we haven't been able to offer them to you. But there is good news! Around the 20th of August our fall raspberries will begin to produce deliciously juicy berries! Check back for more details at that time.

While we wait for the raspberries we can now feast on another favorite of the Patch; sweet corn season is officially here at the Patch!  We offer a scrumptiously sweet bi-color corn that is the perfect addition to any summertime meal. Looking to freeze sweet corn?  Be sure to call ahead and ask about our freezers' discount.  In addition to sweet corn, we continue to have delicious baby red, german butterball, fingerling, as well as blue potatoes.

8/3/15

The Patch is now open dailyfrom 9 am-7 pm.

This summer has been a bit slow. Our poor summer raspberries suffered extensive winter kill and for that reason we haven't been able to offer them to you. But there is good news! Around the 15th of August our fall raspberries will begin to produce deliciously juicy berries! Check back for more details at that time.

Items now available include: several choices of new baby potatoes, farm fresh eggs, and pure Wisconsin maple syrup.  In addition, we also have frozen strawberry rhubarb pies and frozen cream of asparagus soup.

Next season to come at the Patch??  Sweet Corn! Sweet corn should be here within a week. I can already taste its juicy goodness, but I can not wait! It's especially hard since we are starting to see it available locally. Here in our Bures Berry Patch valley though it just gets cooler at night which makes our crops a little slower to get started. The good news is that the crops tend to last a bit longer with the cooler nights! Be sure to check back later this week to find out if the corn is ready!
