It's a new season
Bures Berry Patch is back in the fields! Spring is here and we’ve been busy enjoying the sun and starting our spring work; earlier with our maple syrup season and now harvesting asparagus and rhubarb.
What's available currently at the Patch?
Throughout the season our hours change, currently we are open daily from 9 am-7 pm. At the Patch we have our Asparagus, Farm Fresh Eggs, Dilly Beans, Frozen Cream of Asparagus Soup, Pure Wisconsin Maple Syrup, and Local Honey!

What are the farmers doing these days?
We are planting! We've already planted our peas, potatoes, and next year's strawberry plants. We've also uncovered our strawberry plants and garlic. Next we will need to plant our sweet corn and pumpkin crops. Then there is the daily picking of asparagus and last but not least we continue to take care of our wonderful flock of free ranging chickens!
Wondering when you'll be able to get some delicious strawberries?
Our strawberry plants are beginning to set fruit and we are starting to see some blushing in the Patch. We anticipate the season beginning sometime between June 12th and June 17th. Check back for a more accurate starting date. Once strawberry season begins our hours will change to:
Pre-Pick Hours: Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm
Pick-Your-Own Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 8am-8pm
The Patch will be CLOSED on SUNDAYS during strawberry season.
Here's to a wonderful new year of growing local, healthy food!
We are so grateful for all of our customers and your love for fresh, ripe, and delicious homegrown food!
Hope to see you in the Patch soon,
Farmer Kathy and Farmer Ed
