Eggs will be available throughout the winter months at Bures Berry Patch plus we will be making egg deliveries. If interested in either of these options please give us a call!

Bures Berry Patch still has everything you need for a fun halloween party. Looking to carve some pumpkins, we've got 'em. Want some pumpkins to paint or drawn on? We've got those too. Want to take the party on the road? We offer free hayrides on weekends in October plus we've got pumpkin leap frog! Bring the whole group out for a fantastic time in the Patch!

Do you like squash? Our crop did especially good this year. It is time to clean out the shed though so we are having a squash clearance sale. Butternuts and spaghetti squash are $1 each or 6 for $5! Acorns and Sweet Dumplings are $0.50 each or 10 for $4.

The patch is now open 10 am - 6 pm daily!

Fall has begun at Bures Berry Patch! This year we once again have our enormous selection of white, blue, red, green and even orange pumpkins. We also carry many varieties of squash, as well as Indian corn, corn stalks, straw bales, and tons of fun gourds. We are open daily 10am to 6pm until October 31st. Saturdays and Sundays in October we offer free hayrides through the pumpkin patch where you and your children are able to pick out the perfect pumpkins for your front porch.

In addition to pumpkins, our chickens have all begun producing farm fresh eggs now! That means each morning we are finding dozens, yes dozens, of eggs out in the coop! Wow! Once again Bures Berry Patch has fresh, delicious SWEET CORN! Our sweet corn is pre-picked each morning. We have planted three fantastic varieties this year, all of which are bi-color. If you are looking to freeze large quantities of corn we offer a 6 dozen or more discount if preordered.

Our chickens have all begun producing farm fresh eggs now! That means each morning we are finding dozens, yes dozens, of eggs out in the coop! Wow! Our free-range hens lay both white and brown eggs. Their bright yellow yolk is a sign of higher than typical levels of beta-carotene, giving you multiple eye health benefits. Come taste the difference at the Patch!

Red raspberry season is here!

The summer is cruising along now and our summer red raspberry season is here! All of our raspberries are sold pre-picked. We sell our raspberries in either pint containers or in eight pint pails. The pint containers have berries that are pre-sorted and free from debris and blemishes. The 8 pint pails are straight from the field so they may have some softer fruit however this makes for delicious jams and jellies.

In addition to raspberries, the Patch also has fresh baby red potatoes as well as yukon gold potatoes. As usual, we have our sweet golden honey and pure maple syrup available for purchase.

At this time we are selling by appointment only, which means you set our hours! Give us a call to place your order and arrange a pickup time.

Strawberry Season has ended, thanks for picking!

We have had tons of great pickers out in the Patch the past several days and they have picked flats and flats of great berries. For this reason the patch is now closed.

We had so many wonderful people out in the patch for strawberries! If you made it out this season, thank you so much for coming. If not, be sure to remember for next year that strawberry season usually begins around the 12th of June and only lasts two to three weeks.

Up next? Red raspberries! Check back in the middle of July for when they will be available.

One Weekend Left of Strawberry Picking!

Strawberry season is still here, don't miss out on getting some ripe and juicy berries for your family! We believe there to be just one weekend of picking left here at the Patch. We are not sure when our last day will be but it is coming up. There are still plenty of berries out in the Patch, however the picking is slower than in normal years.

As usual Farmer Ed & I have worked hard for this crop and would love to have you come out and share in the joy of it with us. We have put down extra mulch between the rows to keep you and the berries clean, we have trellised the sugar snap peas for easier picking, and we have pulled a lot of weeds. This all makes our Patch nicer and cleaner for you and your family to have a memorable time.

Unfortunately, this season has been strange and we are unable to provide pre-picked strawberries. We are so terribly sorry for the inconvenience and we look forward to offering you pre-picked strawberries again next year.

So come on out to the Patch and pick-your-own strawberries! In addition, we also have fresh rhubarb, sugar snap peas, honey, and maple syrup available to purchase.

Our hours are Monday-Saturday 8am - 8pm and Sundays 8am - 4pm or until picked out. Please call the hotline before heading out.

Strawberry season is right around the corner. At the Patch we are getting things all ready for you to come out and enjoy the bounty of the Patch. We are putting down extra mulch between the rows to keep you and the berries clean, we are trellising the sugar snap peas for easier picking, and as usual we are pulling weeds all to make our Patch nicer and cleaner for you and your family to have a memoriable time.

We anticipate the season to begin around June 15th. However, because strawberry development is highly dependent of the weather this date is NOT a firm opening date. Therefore, please continue to check as June 15th approaches for new posts so that we may better inform you of our opening date.

This season Bures Berry Patch will be selling both pick-your-own as well as pre-picked strawberries. In addition, we will also have fresh rhubarb, honey, and maple syrup available to purchase.

Chickens are here, along with some eggs! Asparagus coming soon!

Bures Berry Patch is growing for you! However, this time what we are growing does not come from the ground but from an egg. That's right, Bures Berry Patch is raising chickens. Okay, technically we began this expansion last year with 25 egg laying chickens. Then we received a new batch of baby chicks in February! They are so cute. So we now have many, many chickens at Bures Berry Patch and in a few short months they will all be laying eggs. Wow! Right now, our one year old chickens have ramped up production of their delicious brown eggs. So give us a call if you are interested in getting your hands on some of our delicious, farm fresh, brown eggs.

Asparagus season is just about here. As you can see, the spears are beginning to peak out so that we can all soon eat this delicious, healthy, and farm fresh vegetable. Check back in a week to see if the asparagus is ready!
