Strawberries are still plentifulin the Patch!
Word to the wise, strawberry season is usually
just two to three weeks long if we are lucky. We've finished up our first week of strawberry picking and we are now working our way through the second week. If you can
come pick on a weekday, we are open 8am to 8pm Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday this week. If your days are booked, come out after work –
the sun has lost its full power and the patch is cooler. Whichever works
best for you, we'd be happy to have you in the Patch!

It' been a bit wet lately and we know many of you have not been out to pick yet because of the weather. But the berries are so plentiful right now that we want to give you this special opportunity and have decided to open the Patch Friday, June 20th, for pick-your-own strawberries and sugar snap peas.

Farmer Ed tested the Patchand the berries weathered the storms!
That's right, Farmer Ed and a few of our pickers went out on Wednesday to test out the Patch and this is what they found! Considering the weather around the area we feel especially blessed that these jewels of the garden made it through the storms. We hope and pray that you did too!

Because of this and the large amounts of rainfall in our area the last couple of days, we have decided to close the Patch until Thursday, June 19th. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we know you will have a much more enjoyable experience picking once a few more berries ripen up and we dry out a bit.
