However, due to high demand we are currently out of eggs. More will be available around 3/11/15. Sorry for the inconvenience.
What a great 2014 we had here at the Patch! We really had wonderful growing weather throughout the summer and fall, all of our crops did very well. We sure hope that you've enjoyed your produce from the Patch and sincerely hope that you will be back for more next season.
Is anything available during the winter at the Patch?
Yes, we are open daily from 9 am-6 pm. At the Patch we have our farm fresh eggs (out of stock until 3/11), dilly beans, and our super tasty frozen sweet corn!
What do the farmers do in the winter you ask?
Well, we actually both work off the farm, Ed year-round at the UW and Kathy helps an accountant out during tax season. Plus, we still have our flock of 120 egg laying chickens and there is plenty of farm planning to be done for the upcoming year.
Can't make it out to the Patch but would love to be eating from the Patch during the winter?
If you live in Barneveld, Blue Mounds, or Mount Horeb we offer eggs delivered right to your doorstep twice a month! For more information and to get signed up email Farmer Kathy! Our eggs are super fresh and our chickens are free ranging making for extra tasty eggs!
