It's syrup season at the Patch!
We have returned from the Bures' Homestead in Northern Wisconsin with oodles of Pure Maple Syrup! Our syrup is all natural, nothing added. It is perfect for pancakes on a Saturday morning or granola on a weekday. Check out how it compares to other "healthy" sugar substitutes! It really is the best out there!
Our temperatures have warmed up a bit and we are beginning to see signs of spring. We sure hope that you enjoyed your produce from the Patch last year and sincerely hope that you will be back for more this season. Hopefully by May 1st we will have asparagus available!
Is anything available in the meantime at the Patch?
Yes, we are open daily from 9 am-6 pm. At the Patch we have our Farm Fresh Eggs, Dilly Beans, Pure Wisconsin Maple Syrup, and our super tasty frozen Sweet Corn!

What are the farmers doing these days?
We are planting! We've already planted our peas and potatoes. Next we will plant our new strawberries! Plus we just uncovered our strawberry plants that will produce for us this year! And every few days or so we are digging a little bit to see how far down the asparagus is and whether or not it's growing (we've seen just a few spears beginning to peak out). Last but not least we continue to take care of our wonderful flock of chickens!
Here's to a wonderful new year of growing local, healthy food!
We are so grateful for all of our customers and your love for fresh, ripe, and delicious homegrown food!
Hope to see you in the Patch soon,
Farmer Kathy and Farmer Ed

It is egg season at the Patch!
However, due to high demand we are currently out of eggs. More will be available around 4/20/15. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Finally our temperatures have warmed up a bit and we are beginning to see small signs of spring. We sure hope that you enjoyed your produce from the Patch last year and sincerely hope that you will be back for more this season. Hopefully by May 1st we will have asparagus available!
Is anything available in the meantime at the Patch?
Yes, we are open daily from 9 am-6 pm. At the Patch we have our farm fresh eggs (currently out of stock, more available April 20th), dilly beans, and our super tasty frozen sweet corn!
What are the farmers doing these days?
We are getting ready to PLANT! Now is the time when we cut our seed potatoes for planting. We are also checking on our strawberries to see if they need to be uncovered yet. And every few days or so we are digging a little bit to see how far down the asparagus is and whether or not it's growing (it's not yet). Last but not least we are waiting patiently for the ground to dry out a bit from all this rain so that we can start planting for 2015!
