8/3/15
The Patch is now open dailyfrom 9 am-7 pm.
This summer has been a bit slow. Our poor summer raspberries suffered extensive winter kill and for that reason we haven't been able to offer them to you. But there is good news! Around the 15th of August our fall raspberries will begin to produce deliciously juicy berries! Check back for more details at that time.
Items now available include: several choices of new baby potatoes, farm fresh eggs, and pure Wisconsin maple syrup. In addition, we also have frozen strawberry rhubarb pies and frozen cream of asparagus soup.
Next season to come at the Patch?? Sweet Corn! Sweet corn should be here within a week. I can already taste its juicy goodness, but I can not wait! It's especially hard since we are starting to see it available locally. Here in our Bures Berry Patch valley though it just gets cooler at night which makes our crops a little slower to get started. The good news is that the crops tend to last a bit longer with the cooler nights! Be sure to check back later this week to find out if the corn is ready!
