Sunday 6/18
Strawberry Season Update:
The Patch is closed on Sundays.
Here's to a wonderful new year of growing local, healthy food!
Our strawberries have traveled far and wide in the past 10+ years that we have been strawberry farmers and we can't thank you enough for sharing our berries with those close to you. We really do appreciate all of our customers and your love for fresh, ripe and delicious produce!
The
Patch is closed on Sundays. In addition, because we had so many customers come
pick on Saturday the Patch needs an extra day to ripen. We will reopen for
U-pick strawberries and sugar snap peas on Tuesday, June 20th from 8a - 8p.
We've had a great first week of picking in the Patch and there are still more
great berries to be had! Get berry picking on your calendar this week though
because the season is flying by. A typical season is only 2-3 weeks long which
means the season could be over as soon as June 26th. Hopefully not, but
depending on how hot or rainy it gets we wouldn't want you to miss out berry
friends!
Please note that our hours will be different for pick-your-own strawberries than they are for pre-picked berries:
Pick-your-own strawberries and peas are available this Tuesday, Thursday, and HOPEFULLY Saturday, 8am - 8pm.
Pre-picked strawberries are no longer available unless you've previously placed an order.
The Patch is closed on Sundays.
Bures Berry Patch accepts cash, check, or charge. And picking containers are provided.
For your enjoyment Bures Berry Patch also sells: bulk pectin, eggs, pure maple syrup, frozen strawberry rhubarb pies, frozen cream of asparagus soup, and more.
Don't forget to Like us on Facebook for daily updates on what is happening in the Patch! In addition, this can be a great resource for recipes and strawberry ideas. We'd also love to see pictures of your little ones all sticky with strawberry juice (might just be next years postcard picture)!
